The food was amazing, the service stunning and we enjoyed our diner at this place. Every time I visit my daughter in Groningen we go there. Thanks for the gorgeous evening we spend in your retaurant
Food was good, though portions were small and the risotto was mostly rice. Service was good but not always friendly. The decoration of the place needs urgent redesigning: light is too bright, things on the walls don't go well together... in general, not very gezellig, and for the price you would definitely expect more.
Went here because it seemed like a good place, and it was, but not 5 stars (the food). My lobster was kinda dry and the sause not even that tasteful. My partners food was also very bland and just oke. The waitress was very good and fast/friendly. Gave 4 stars for atmosphere because it felt like we were in someones house. But wouldnt go here again, its not that special.
I took my partner for a dinner date last night, atmosphere was good. The waitress explained fish of the day turbot and tongue fish. I go for mussels and my partner for turbot. 5-10 min later waitress came back told my partner the turbot was finished so he had to choose again, he chose risotto. After starters, our food came, i get my mussels but he get a turbot (which should be finished?), there was mistake, they took back turbot fish without any explanation and we had to wait about 15 min more while my main course standing on the table (which is not nice when you go as couple for dinner). After they came with risotto, when my partner asked what happened (because there was still no explanation) the waitress said sorry and told that we will be compensated. The risotto was rich with fishes but rice was not well cooked. After we asked the bill, we get the bill without any compensation or any other possible gestures , when my partner asked, they told him we mean we will compensate coffee (which we did not order) It was strange service with minimum explanation , it will be nicer if they took more responsibility of their mistake and communicate better.
I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a nice dinning place.
They also have vegetarian dishes, I ordered a nice Ravioli for myself.

Great food, excellent service. My favorite restaurant in Groningen. The Chef “Bob” is an awesome host and he takes personal care of his guests. I give this restaurant a 10 stars, not 5! Highly recommended.
fresh seafood, my cod fillet main was perfect and the pistachio tiramisu was gorgeous! service was great but our poor waitress had 8 tables to handle all by herself so service was slow but it’s not her fault
• Located in the centre of Groningen, nice ambiance, friendly staff.
• Their seafood and fish is good, but prices way too high for what you get, we received a good piece of fish but paid €30 for that with just a small side of fries, no salad or vegetables. Their vegetarian dishes are even worse; we paid €24 for what they call melanzane parmigiane but was in fact 1 sliced aubergine with a few dots of tomatosauce and 3 pieces of parmezan cheese.
Their sticky toffee pudding was a dry (store-bought?) cake with very salty caramel sauce and their tiramisu was an unattractive blob on a plate with no decoration.
Oh and we were the 2nd table at the beginning of the evening and at least 3 items on the menu were not available anymore.
Once a good restaurant, now not worth it.
